We at Growing Seeds Academy aim to provide exemplary social, physical, and cognitive early childhood experiences. As a reputable daycare in Connecticut, we’ve been trusted by parents for years. Here’s why you should choose us for your little ones:
We follow the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which emphasizes individualized education that nurtures each child’s curiosity and creativity. Children are seen as active participants in their learning journey, engaging in activities that align with their unique interests, fostering a meaningful and enriching educational experience
We are committed to maintaining exceptional safety and quality standards. The academy undergoes weekly safety evaluations and employs a trained staff dedicated to providing a welcoming, secure setting where children can explore and learn confidently
We value the critical role of family involvement in a child's education and actively encourages parental participation at every stage. This collaborative approach strengthens the school-family partnership, creating a support network that enhances children’s holistic development
We offer a range of programs carefully crafted to nurture each stage of early childhood development. From infants to preschoolers, every program is designed to meet children’s unique needs, sparking their curiosity and supporting their growth in a safe, inspiring environment.
Our infant program provides a warm, nurturing space where babies can safely explore and interact. With a focus on sensory and motor skill development, our educators work one-on-one to help infants build trust and confidence, ensuring each milestone is reached with care and encouragement.
In this phase, toddlers are naturally curious and eager to explore. Our toddler program introduces early learning concepts through structured play, supporting language, cognitive, and physical development. Activities are designed to foster social skills, emotional expression, and early problem-solving abilities, all in a secure and engaging setting.
Our preschool program is rooted in the Reggio Emilia approach, where learning is child-led and inquiry-based. Preschoolers are encouraged to pursue their interests, engage in hands-on projects, and collaborate with peers, which helps them develop critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. Our curriculum combines literacy, math, science, and creative arts to provide a well-rounded foundation for lifelong learning.
We also offer extended care for families who need flexible scheduling. Our extended care provides a structured yet relaxed environment where children can engage in creative play, explore the outdoors, and build friendships.
Explore our programs to see how each one is thoughtfully tailored to create a joyful, educational journey for your child. At GSA, we are committed to providing high-quality early education that inspires confidence, kindness, and a love of learning.
